It is now possible to claim chunks as your on Alice, which provides protection on blocks and items within your area. In the future, it will tell the server that you still play, so that it will permit machines and whatnot to run (as of right now, that feature is not yet enabled and so machines will always run anywhere).
    • To select an area, use a piece of flint and left click to select point 1, and right click to select point 2. You do not need to worry about the height or Y-coordinate, as practically the entire chunk will be yours.
    • To claim the area, you need to type /claim [<friends-list>] in chat. You will have to confirm the purchase. The first four chunks are free, but the chunks thereafter will have a cost of coal coke. You can specify a friends list now (or later), which will allow your teammates to also access the given chunks.
    • To unclaim, use /unclaim. This does not have confirmation.
    • To change the friends list, select the area containing the chunks that you want to modify and use /ownership set-friends <friends-list> to change the friends list.
    • To view the owner of a chunk, use /bind owner and left click blocks to display the owner information. Use /unbind to unbind the tool.
    • Below the Y coordinate of 40 (always subject to change), certain blocks are mineable and placeable, such as stone and ores.
    • Advanced Machines and furniture are currently not properly protected.
    • Please do not claim chunks of other peoples' homes. That kind of behavior is subject to punishment.
    • Owned chunks do not stay loaded. You have to use chunk loaders. Chunk loaders are not subject to any change with this addition.
If you are not familiar with friends lists, you can create lists of other players that can be used in both lock signs and with owned chunks.
    • To create a new friends list, use /friends create <name>
    • To add friends to the list, use /friends add <name> <player>
    • You can set some players as 'managers', which allows them to also change the list. Use /friends add -m <name> <player>

As my tower goes down to Y=5, can I get my chunks extended, or is there no such feature. O:

I claimed some chunks earlier and now it won't let me access them saying I need to contact "thtredstonegui" first. That is me, so something must be borked.

I am having this same problem but it is weird because only one of my chunks is 'corrupted' in this nature
there are two others adjacent I can mine and use chests/machines just fine in them but for whatever reason I can't in the chunk where I have all my power gen and have the majority of my chests

hope this isn't too much hassle to fix
    thanks sk :D

good luck with everything and despite being a little frustrating it actually demonstrated what it is like going onto claimed land and I must say it looks like it will work a treat

EDIT: Ok so just a heads up to sk, after spending sometime offline and logging out from a different chunk when I came back I noticed it was the chunk I logged into that was 'corrupted'. This was also the case for the other chunk in that it was the one I logged into that spazzed out. Hope this helps ;)
