The server that we had been using ("Boston") seemed to have been struggling with Alice, and so we've moved the server back to the old location in Germany for the time being. The CPU is not as good as the proposed one that we wanted to get, but it's still a notable improvement over the one that we were using. Hopefully the server should perform better, and if we can get the new processor, then we will switch to the new system. To connect to Alice, the addresses that you should be using are: alice.sk89q.com for a direct route to Germany ny.alice.sk89q.com for a New York mirror that provides a latency improvement for some Americans, notably those on the west coast However, because those addresses were pointing to the Boston server until today, it may take up to a day for your computer to notice the new changes. Even if the changes haven't appeared for you, you will still be able to connect because we've added a proxy on the Boston server, but you may notice extra latency as a result. You can temporarily use these addresses if you think that you're being proxied through Boston: puffin.sk89q.com for the direct route eduardo.sk89q.com for the New York mirror We will remind you in a few days to change your addresses back.
I guess people need to know they need to rename their reis minimap files to get their waypoints back. In C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.skcraftalice\.minecraft\mods\rei_minimap Rename the files that have: serenity.sk89q.com.[45445].DIM0.points to: puffin.sk89q.com..DIM0.points And your waypoints should reappear in game. It worked for me, anyway.
Well I think we're fine as we are but I like the idea of a donation thing... I mean if you want to add rewards then sure but I would really like to donate to the server at some point
I wasn't aware of that Neon...remember I've been on the server for a year and on the forums for maybe 5 months. Thank you for letting me know
