The SKCraft Launcher allows you to download modpacks for SKCraft's Minecraft servers. For our vanilla servers, you don't need the launcher, but it comes in handy because we usually bundle useful mods.
To get the launcher, visit our download page. By default, the launcher is not portable (it stores its data files in your computer's documents/application data folder), but you can enable portable mode.
It's 100% safe -- it's made by the creator of WorldEdit (a popular world editing mod for Minecraft), which happens to be the owner of SKCraft, and you can even download and modify the source code of the launcher. Many other servers use the launcher for their modpacks.
