Stargates

Stargates let you create an inter-connected portal system for fast travelling between two points. Creating a gate requires 8 diamond blocks and two beacons per gate. Travel is free, but you need to be at a gate to travel to another.

Gates can be on the central network or on their own private network.

Creating a Gate

Place the diamond and beacon blocks in the layout shown below:

To activate the gate, place a sign on the third row down (the middle line), on one of the sides.

1. The first line should be the name of your gate.
2. If you want your gate to go to a fixed destination, place the name of this destination on the second line.
3. If you don't want your gate to be connected to the central network, place the name of another network on the third line.

Once you've finished the sign, your portal should activate.

To deactivate a gate, simply break one of the gate's blocks.

Using a Gate

Right click the sign to choose a destination, and then click the button to activate the portal.
