I am going to randomly buy people games on steam, when ever I feel like it

The Rules
  • Participant must write a small summary including what game they want and why they deserve whatever game.
  • Participant must not already possess said game in some way.
  • Whatever other rules I decide to make.

Easing up Vincent

I'd like to suggest the idea of easing up Vincent and allowing teleport commands and other things. That way, Alice would continue to be 'hardcore', but Vincent would cater to seemingly a larger base of players who aren't really into hard core.

Thoughts?

Next Alice update

We will be updating Alice when RedPower PR5b2 comes out, as b1 was pulled for being too buggy.

This update will also update the server to Minecraft 1.2.5, and RedPower will get a berth of new features (frames, computers, new logic gates, etc.)

IN SUMMARY, we have the following private game servers:

  • Digital Paint: Paintball 2: lazuli.sk89q.com
  • Team Fortress 2: sandra.sk89q.com
  • For Left 4 Dead 2, access it via our Steam group.

If you think one of those servers should be public, suggest it. Also, I'm looking for people that may be interested in helping run these servers.

Left 4 Dead 2 server

Now we have a Left 4 Dead 2 server! I haven't tested it yet

To use it, use "sv_search_key skcraft" in the Left 4 Dead 2 console during lobby.

You may be able to connect to it directly if you are in our Steam group, but I forget how to do that.

New island on Alice

There is a new island on Alice on which you can build a home. It's not too far off from either spawn nor the main island, and there will be bridges connecting the new island and the main island shortly.
